This album is a sonic practice: a document of live ensemble sessions captured in Charlie Jung's personal studio. With minimal editing, the raw breath, tension, and natural interplay between musicians are preserved exactly as they unfolded. Through improvisation and repetition that move like breathing itself, the sound gradually descends into a meditative state.
About the Artist
Charlie Jung Kailash Band is a collective assembled around guitarist Charlie Jung, who has long been a quiet but consistent force in the Korean jazz scene. Veteran drummers Lee Do-heon, Jason Park, and Oh Won-seok bring a blazing energy that converges into one vast current. Joining them are the rapidly rising free jazz guitarist Jungwon and percussionist Song Se-bin, deeply versed in Brazilian music — together shaping one of the most vividly alive sounds of the present moment.
