About This Release

A carefully curated best-of compilation from the legendary acoustic guitar duo Sunflower (해바라기), featuring tracks drawn from their 1985–1986 studio albums (Sunflower Vol. 2 and Vol. 3). These recordings capture the full musical world of pioneering artist Lee Ju-ho, whose partnership with Yu Ik-jong breathed new life into Korean folk music during the 1980s. While folk had already passed its peak era, Sunflower's sophisticated adult contemporary sound — polished yet deeply resonant — defined a new era of musical richness.

This edition is a reel master tape restoration pressing, showcasing the warmth and depth of the original analog recordings. The mastering faithfully preserves the naturalness and tonal thickness that made these tracks timeless.

Important Notes for LP Buyers

Jacket / Contents / Packaging

• Minor jacket creases, corner dents, or surface cracks are not grounds for return or exchange, unless a clear playback defect exists.
• The inner sleeve may develop cracks from contact with the disc; this is considered normal and is not eligible for return or exchange.
• Disc labels may not adhere perfectly due to the manufacturing process.
• Damage limited to the outer shrink wrap, with no impact on the product itself, is not eligible for exchange or return.

Playback Issues

• Turntables without tonearm or weight adjustment (typically all-in-one models) may cause skipping on tracks with wide dynamic range. This is generally due to a lightweight tonearm and is not a disc defect. A turntable with adjustable tonearm settings is recommended.
• Static electricity and dust can interfere with playback. This is usually resolved with a dedicated record cleaning product.
• Dust accumulation on the stylus needle may also affect playback quality.

Disc Condition

• The disc surface may appear slightly uneven or warped; returns and exchanges are only accepted if an actual playback issue results.
• In some cases, the center hole is intentionally manufactured slightly smaller to minimize playback distortion and ensure consistent performance over repeated plays. If the hole does not fit the turntable spindle, a dedicated center hole adjustment tool can resolve this.
• Occasional minor surface marks or imperfect finishing may be present; these are only eligible for return or exchange if they cause a playback problem.

Color Disc Notes

• Actual disc color may differ slightly from web images.
• Color variation between individual units can occur during the manufacturing process.
• Small dots or traces of other color dyes may appear on the disc surface as a result of production.
